I just realised after all these years, warlocks hasn't gotten the most iconic demon ability ever. A giant laser that instantly turns a target inside out. I think this would be great for demonology. Thoughts?

Finger of Death
80 yd range
1 sec cast
Requires level 73
Strikes an enemy with the finger of death, inflicting 36000 shadow damage upon them, their children, and their children's children.
Would rather have this than turning the target inside-out.
it's Archimonde's ability in Mount hyjal when he goes pewpew at the end.

I read Fingered to death
Im disappointed
Neither did Archimonde in WOD. Worst part about the fight.
DBZ spell, freeza etc.
finger of death sounds more like a necromancer ability to me.
Maybe make it a destruction talent. Deals the damage of a chaos bolt instantly with a cool down ofcourse.
Considering monks have a spell that lets them OHKO any target under a certain HP threshold (or deal massive damage in the case of bosses), I see no reason Warlocks shouldn't get the occasional fun spell like this.
Fixed that for you. They already stripped away most of our fun spells. Remember Ritual of Doom? I used to love going to Deathknell or the Valley of Trials and gathering a bunch of lowbies together to 'summon a really cool thing'. Detect Invisibility was fun too, since there are a surprising number of invisible critters in the world. And of course, lets not forget Fel Flame.
Ah then it's my misunderstanding, got that the other way round.
it Wasn't just at the end he used it..
He used it when ever there wasn't a target in melee range (when there wasn't a tank in melee range)
But agree that it's sad that he doesn't have this ability in WoD..
Was together with His soul charge his most iconic abilities back in TBC imo..
Soul Charge: When any raid member dies, Archimonde gains a Soul Charge which he can use once at a random time (with an animation looking like the Shaman Lightning Shield ability). Depending on which character class created the Soul Charge, the following effects apply to the entire raid on its use:
Priest, Mage, Warlock: ~4500 fire damage plus 4 sec silence.
Warrior, Rogue, Paladin: ~4500 physical damage plus 4 sec damage taken increased by 50% debuff.
Druids, Shamans, Hunters: ~4500 nature damage over 8 seconds plus 2250 mana burn.
