Legion Artifact Weapons

Does anyone else notice in the pictures they're releasing it has the Fury artifact listed as a one hander?

And they also look like one handed weapons. It makes me believe the original intent for Fury was to go SMF. They have however said Fury will indeed play TG so they'll most likely be scaled up and relabeled as 2H in a future build.

Yes, because they haven't gotten to scaling them up yet. That's probably last on their list of things to get done before beta actually is accessible. They already confirmed they are two handers and we will be using TG on warcraftdevs twitter.

@SDMF: Yeah, a lot of people believe that same thing, including myself. I think they originally went with SMF but after hearing feedback about it and the uproar that happened on the official forums, they fell back on that idea.

And holy paladin weapon was listed as 2hander, could be several reasons as to why. The pure size of the weapon, or the way they wanted it to be sheathed. But clearly blizzard is the big bad guy so they did something wrong and you're all clever enough to find out

Still annoyed by the "armored" back of the Fury Weapons. The hooked model doesn't seem too bad but it's not exciting me overall.

The Prot sword looks alright, but I hope they come up with a few more models, which I'm sure they will, but just having two themes aren't all that exciting.

The Arms sword though looks great, has a lot of variety in blade and hilt. Definitely the belle of the ball in my opinion.

I dont care much if Fury artifacts will be 1h or 2h. They are ugly as hell and wont look nicer if Blizz scales them up. These are supposedly swords and they look like saws. Whats this crap on the upper edge? Child safety bars? And why are they glowing as if Furys are DKs?

Of all the artifacts this is the biggest fail. If they ran out of ideas because they gave out dozens of swords, maybe they should have given Fury 1h axes or 2h maces. Both are nowhere to be found among artifacts.

We went with swords for wider appeal, but there's a variant we haven't shown yet that you might like.

Soo, what's this variant that "we might like", implying that it couldn't be a sword? We have now 5 Arms weapons. The same amount every specc has. I'm starting to wonder.

i'm happy our artifacts look really nice. bloodily glowing swords are perfect for fury. arms sword looks better than ashbringer :-)

What really? I believe the arms weapons to be the biggest disappointment in Legion so far. They look.. so fucking weird.

On the same boat here. Really dislike all fury models and arms looks.. not warrior'ish.
I guess I'll have to reroll then, literally unplayable

Eh, I think all the other 2-handers look kinda meh, the more I look at the arms ones the more I enjoy them....The fury weapons so far are bad, but I'll have to wait and see when they upscale them/can see the model.

The fury weapons makes no sense. What good is a sword when it only has one sharp edge? Why would you cover the other edge in some kind of plating, so you can grip it and crosscheck your enemies?

Single-edged blades are not inherently a bad idea, after all katanas have a single edge and are among the most well designed swords in the world. That said, however, the design is still blah as hell. They got the concept of "make it look like a dragon head" and all functionality was sacrificed to the god of "DRAGON-HEAD!!" It's all just over the top and stupid - they don't look like weapons, they look like ornaments. The fifth one looks like a fucking rifle!

While I do like the look of the sword, I'm not sure that I like the fact that each sword look like a dragon head yeah. It's too much.

of all the weapons, the prot sword is the worst of them all, and i play prot hopefully there will be more sword models and not this boring piece of artwork
