    I have found

    https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...sfully-recove/

I seem to be on the same boat as these other people, BUT when I updated my driver - why would it update it from 3/7/16 to 7/2/2014 ????

Which cord to be exact? Card to monitor? PSU to Video Card?
The latter is possible, the prior I don't think so but that's cause I haven't seen it exactly, so someone can correct me on that.
TDR is a very very broad Windows error. It can be caused by software or hardware and it's quite lame to trouble shoot it.
