I started my BM hunter after all these initial changes, so how will this help? All ive known is my current build and that has seemed fine so far.

The shoulders make the build much more enjoyable. More active, less downtime, more buff management. It's a REALLY good change.

Awesome. 2 charge system with full DB/DF resets makes much more sense than the cooldown reduction.

Really like those other changes too. Finally some fixes for Hati. The GCD reduction during AotW is much welcomed as well.

I'm actually really looking forward to this patch now.

Sadly all I have is the belt and boots =/

They've gone from nerfing the shoulders to making them almost 100% worthless. Though I guess with 3 charges you'd have to have an incredible unlucky streak to drop dire frenzy.

Of course at this point most of us have 7-8 other Bm legos anyways, or you're someone who generally will never get them, so I feel there won't be a lot of tears shed on this one.

did you even read the bluepost? you wont get 3 stacks with the shoulders :x

"To start, we are reverting all 7.2.5 changes we’ve made so far to how Wild Call triggers. Instead, Dire Beast and Dire Frenzy will have 2 charges baseline. The Mantle of Command (legendary shoulders that currently add +1 charge to Dire Beast/Dire Frenzy) will be changed to instead further increase the proc chance of Wild Call. "

No, they aren't. They should obviously be forbidden, by law, to do so.

The point you're missing is that they made a decision, that was so obviously retarded, and now they're getting cheers because they are saying "ok, ok, we're not doing it".

It's like that real ID thing they did years ago, where they would introduce the idea that your real name would be displayed on the forums. A shitstorn ensued, and they took it back, patting themselves on the back and playing the hero.

Same thing with the exalted for class mounts thing. They probably never intended to go through with it anyway, they just waited for people to be pissed off, so they could get cheered on for taking the requirement back.

Well tickle my nipples and call me Samantha.... They actually did it. Was not expecting that.

No, they're getting cheers for saying "We understand BM feedback has been negative regarding changes, we hear you" and reverting said changes. You know, that thing most people on the forums piss and moan about incessantly. (Dev's not listening to feedback)

And some people like to bash blizzard no matter what they do.
Blizzard could invent a cure for the common cold, and someone would complain that they weren't curing cancer.

Blizzard listened, despite many players insisting they never do.
    Are they perfect ?
    No.
Do you bother looking at the other opinions of even one poster saying they are happy about that reversion, before accusing them of being a fanboy or similar ?
    No, you don't.

This is pretty awesome. Happy to see the x2 baseline change and the mantle change is interesting too. What really makes me happy though is this:

Kill Command and Dire Frenzy will cause your pet/Hati to charge up to 40 yds (up from 25 yds)to the target, matching the max range of your ranged abilities.

When your pet casts Dash, Hati will also gain Dash for the same duration.

    Hell yeah!

Grats beastmasters I know a guildie that miss 2 legendaries, and those are belt and shoulders(unlucky son of a gun) and he'll be very happy for this!

No, they are doing a lot more than just reverting previous changes on the PTR. They are FINALLY listening to what the majority of BM Hunters have been asking for and are making 2 charges of Dire Beast/Frenzy baseline. That's huge as is makes the spec viable for top end Mythic raiding without needing the shoulders, and makes it enjoyable for everyone else. That massive amount of down time the spec has without those two charges is disgusting, you spend 20% or more of the fight with nothing to cast.

On top of them giving us the two charges baseline, the shoulders will still be viable as they will buff the proc rate of Wild Call. As it is now, there is still a lot of RNG to deal with to try and maintain 3 stacks of Dire Frenzy the entire fight. If the new shoulders enable us to better maintain those 3 stacks, that's another big DPS increase for us.

AND the are addressing our slow ass pets and annoying pet management, especially for Hati, by increasing KC and DF from 25 yards to 40 yards, DF used to require melee range before 7.2 so this is the second buff in that regard. And Hati will gain the same Dash buff our Ferocity pets get any time our Ferocity pet uses the ability.

So this is a whole hell of a lot more than them simply reverting some previous changes on the PTR. And while this doesn't mean I'm willing to blindly trust them going forward, I have a feeling they are going to want to nerf our DPS in some way because of all of these changes, they absolutely should be commended on the rare occasions they do actually listen to us.

    Edit:

Almost forgot to mention the Aspect of the Wild changes. The 0.2 second GCD is a big deal too. It goes back to trying to manage those Dire Frenzy stacks, you can end up losing a cast of Kill Command during your BW + KC window because you have to cast Dire Frenzy a little early to not lose the 3 stacks. Because if you cast KC first, the stacks of DF will fall off during the GCD window.

Every single one of the things they announced in the post is massively good news for us.

Looks like there will still be little reason to roll marksman now tho especially with these changes. Wish that spec could get as much love rather than a 4% bandaid. These are some much needed BM changes though.
