Replaced my Aedar's Battlestar (ToC 5 man) mace with it today.
Not a huge upgrade but still a small one while waiting for the ToC25 Axe to drop..

I got 2, haven't had a chance to test them yet but I lost hit and expertise from the last weapons so I am going to have to re-gem to make up for that. They look quite solid and the stats are good.

was looking at it, but ive got a TotC 10 run today (hopefully) so if i dont get the axe or mace from anub i was going to buy one if they start selling for 1k, as i have aledar's battlestar its such a small upgrade for the amount some people are selling it for on the AH

I just leveled my Enh. Shammy. Got two of these with Berserking and it's working pretty awesome so far.

The great part is I actually won these both the same day, didn't have to buy them. First on my other toon, so I sent it over, and then it dropped again TWICE in the same run, so I got a second one for my offhand, and the third went to a guildmate to sell.

As far as being a minor upgrade over Aledar's Battlestar... yah the dps boost isn't THAT much, but you don't have to deal with all that FUCKING ARMOR PEN BULLSHIT. Enhancement shammies are the only melee class that are bound to using slow 1handers (DKs don't have to be DW, they can 2hander spec, and rogues can have builds that use daggers or other fast weapons etc, not to mention they have the option of swords as we do not..) and half the gear we get has ArPen on it.. *sigh*

I'm gonna replace my H-Toc maces with these and make up for the lost hit and expertise in my other gem slots. It isn't often we get a chance to grab something with stats so perfect for us. lucky for me on Muradin they're like 1.5k g :P

Armor Penetration is actually not that bad of a stat for us... it sims around 1.5 for me which is even above haste (yet again, for me... which is 1.32). Crit rating sims around 1.8, so I'd rather see more of that :P.

You need to resim with EnhSim v1.9.0 when it comes out as ArP got a 12% nerf in the patch so it may come out a lot worse.

I've seen Int get a better value than 1.5. Given kings and 2 pts of ancestral knowledge 1 Int is automatically worth 1.144 AP, then there's the spell crit from it and some additional mana + additional regen from Replenishment.

Arp is that bad because every other stat we could conceivably get from gear is better.

I got it last night on my DK to give to my fresh 80 druid.

Big upgrade vs what I had.

It's a useful item for anyone with a lower gear lvl item.

Not worth 1-4k but useful if it drops
