3.2.2 fire spec, throwing vs spirit

So, 3.2.2 rolled out and I really wanted to get combustion since it sounds oh so sweat, but where do I get the point? So I fiddled arround the calc and noticed that flame throwing isn't contributing THAT much for a fireball spamming spec as fireball&pyro already have a 35yrd range so, I pulled one from it and put it on combustion. Then I noticed that student of the mind was 2/3 and I pulled the last one from throwing to get that 3% extra spirit. In a world of 70% spirit -> crit conversion(2p t9 ftw) will I cry for not having that extra 6 yrds or is the extra dps neglectible and should just get the extra range so I don't get stomped by evil doers?

    Thanks in advance

works really well for me. you can fiddle with points flipping between arcane concentration, student of the mind, and arcane meditation, depending on how long your mana pool lasts.

I personally like to run with 2/2 Magic Absorption for the extra resistance while we're pushing hard modes. Mana is a little tighter in this spec for sure, I normally end up using all my mana gems and possibly an EVO if there is an opportunity for it. I find that my survivability is considerably higher however. One point in flame throwing is sufficient for range extension in my experience as well.

Standard TTW/Fire speck now with Combustion.

On usual boss fights, pop combustion right at the start, then when the cooldown is up, make sure you wait till boss is below 35% to get the max DPS from Molten Fury
