How old is Anduin Wrynn?

According to wowwiki, hes 12 in WotLK. But given that new model, he looks to be in his early 20s?
and the time frame between ICC and 3.3.5 couldnt possibly be that large?

Well I would doubt that he will get this during 3.3.5, probably during 4.0.

Also, Blizz made him look older so his model wouldn't be too young in five years.

Model could be minimally 15 years old or as high as mid twenties in my opinion. (Though does look a bit old for 15) Or Blizz could just say hes older; it also depends on when this model is implemented. Cataclysm could anywhere from 1-4 years after Lich King in lore.
Maybe he'll become a bigger character in game too, both lore and quest wise.

I'm fairly certain that humans in WoW age slightly differently than we do. I mean, look at Arthas. When he was only 11 he started doing things most people won't start doing until they are 17 or 18. I'm referring to the novel, of course...

They've always said Cataclysm is on the heals of the Lich King. I suspect this is intended to update him to about where he should be... although he should only be 5 years old and not the 10 or so it looks like he jumped. That said the prior poster is likely right that they don't want to have to change out his model again.

The weird thing is I bet all the other kids in stormwind remain the same age. Heh.

i think wowwiki is a bit off there, that would mean he was 6 when WoW started, his current model from the start of wow was always about 12, 5years of wow and however many years (1to3) lorewise until cataclysm he should be around 17-20 give or take...making the new model work fine

My first thought when I saw him was, "This is the first teenager blizzard has ever modelled... let's hope they don't try it again."

That said, I think it's really cool that they're letting him grow up. They should make those kids chasing that cat in SW grow up too.
