OMG keyboard turner!

Today I recived the 100 message in which I am called a noob because I keyboard turn : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nW459VLAYU and today I had enough

Why do I keyboard turn - short history

All began 3 or 2 years ago when i first installed wow on my powerbook g4. I loved the game and I leveled a troll priest on realm Balnazzar whit my friends. At that time and at that level, I didn't had a mouse on my laptop. Just the touch pad that any apple laptop had. Was a little difficult to turn, with my keyboard but that was ok.
I begun play in bg with a twink warrior 29 and rarely used the mouse to select target . I only used keyboards to play in bg. It was a little hard when i dealed with rogues. But I backpadeled and I solved the problem. Also I had 10 fingers using the keyboard so I had a fast response to use abilities!

After my powerbook was burned when I was playing wow because of the overheating (yes wow destroy apple laptops !!!) and Devillzard didn't payed me back - i went playing wow on a stupid PC desktop , with keyboard and mouse, still, I maintain my style of playing discovering that is more powerfull than any other style.

And then I made some videos and recived, with great surprise some evil comments regargind "keyboard" turning, like I was some kind of a noob. It didn't matter that I could solo gnomeregan instance wiht a level 29, it didn't matter that I could pwn any twink rogue on my bg, it didn't matter that I had almost all avaible engineering trinkets! All that DID matter was that I freaking move my character using keyboards.

So I am wondering, are you a skilled player because you move with mouse ? And all players who don't move with mouse are ETERNAL noobs?!

keyboard turning is not a problem if you can make it work. if you are won of the people that takes 4 seconds to turn around 180 degrees, its a problem.

its like being a clicker. if you can make it work, why not? some clickers is way better than keyboard pressers. i myself use a mix of both, becourse i dont like the whole keybind every ability to your keyboard style. the abilitys i use once every 3-10 minutes i click.

good keyboard turners bind an use interact with target(look in keybindings, basically makes you run to target).

But dude... your WoW history sounds remarkably like mine - Playing on a powerbook G4, until it burned out while playing wow leaving my level 40 something warrior stranded in STV killing naga for kelp.

There's nothing that is absolutely wrong about what you do though - its a game and you're paying for it.
Play how you like to play, no one has the right to make you not enjoy something you're paying good money to play.

You run into a doorway and keyboard turn into the doorway several times trying to get into a room. This amuses me.

I stopped right there. Keyboard turning and clicking are just bad ways to do it, sorry. I don't care how "Good" you are at keyboard turning and clicking, you'd be WAY better with mouse turning and binding. There is a reason people go "LOLOLOLOLOL BACK PEDDLING/CLICKING/KEY TURNING" when they see videos with that stuff in it.

You can play the game however you like, but it's been know that learning to keybind and using the mouse to turn makes it easier. If you have a usb mouse, you can remedy that pretty easily. Otherwise, stick with what you prefer to play. Just don't bring the idea that being a clicker and keyboard turner is just as good as a keybinder and mouse turner.

Pro tip for beginners:

Hit escape > Key bindings > find "Strafe left" and "Strafe right" rebind these to to "A" and "D".

You're set, you wont and you can't ever keyboard turn again. You will get used to it really quick.
