    My main problem with shamans rite now

    They seem to be the only class left out of the range buff! Think of another class most similar to an elemental shaman and I don't know about you but I'd say a balance Druid they are hybrids same as us they are have caster, melée and healing abilities exact same as us and yet there wrath and other abilities got buffed to 40yds base line! Why are shamans stuck at 30yds?

    And the other thing vie got to moan about is spell push back not so bad on lightning bolt seems there's a cap if +1 sec but on channeled abilities such as earthquake it takes about 3secs off each hit and it's only a 7ish sec channel get hit twice and it's gone done practically no Damage and it's costs a lot of mana so if u pull ur screwed and if your soloing u have to cast it 4 or 5 times on yourself to kill normal mobs on you which is a massive chunk of your mana pool. The talent which reduced spell push back by 70% is needed again I feel especially on channeled spells I know we have the tranquil air totem now which is 30% but it just doesn't cut it. that should stack with the 70% giving 100% like pales get or like rest also used to have while wearing earth shield.

    Other than that I'm very happy with the state of shammys can't comment on enhancement that's not my thing but from what I've heard they could do with abit of loving but resto and ele are rite. Soz not my best post been posted from iPad gg

    If you are getting hit then Chain Lightning+Fire Nova&Magma totem (these are even better than EQ)

    Elemental is stuck at 30 yards baseline spells because unlike druids, Enhancement and Elemental share quite a few spells. If you buff the spells too much baseline, then Enhancement runs the risk of becoming either too good, or too caster-like.

    Also: Different classes are different.

    Ummm the problem is actually solved. You just don't like the solution imo. Can you extend your range to the same as the other casters? Yes? Well then what are you complaining about?

    As long as they add Searing Totem in Elemental Reach, I'd be happy with that talent.

    You'd figure they would make the increased range baseline, considering other classes can Wtfpwn 40+ yards away.

    This would be only of the few changes i would love to see implemented, and making lava flows take out the shared CD on our shocks.


    Also, for me, the main problem for elementals, is Movement.

    WE are by far the class that suffer the most with movement in the beta raids, Spirit walker as a long CD to be effective and LS takes ages to build up, for fulmination to counter the movement impairement.

    I totally agree with you.

    Infact, I'd rather see that 70% of my talents are baseline for my spec, so that I don't have to spend any talents what-so-ever to get what I want!

    Problem fucking solved!

    But to be serious, it doesn't seem logical that every other caster class has 40 yard range baseline whereas Shamans don't. Your way of expressing yourself was just very easy to make fun of.

    Do remember that Enhancement shammies use Lightning Bolt (and other spells through Maelstrom Weapon) every now and then, and a melee class with a 40yard range spell (that they use fairly often) would probably be considered quite OP by the players.

    i think he meant Baseline for Elemental when u pick the tree, like Elemental fury, Shamanism and Thunderstorm

    also with the totem range issue, you dont see mages water elemental and locks imp having 20 yard range. bastards eating my LS charges

    I said Elemental... not for Enhancement.

    If you want the range, take the talent. How new are you people to playing Shaman? Issues like this are the core of the class.

    Doesn't matter in PvE. We're stuck within 20 yards because god forbid they increase the range of Searing fucking Totem.
    I once had a character named "Clamslam" but Blizzard deemed it inappropriate.

    He's commenting on the fact that the OP wants to be able to stand 40 yards away, even though he was to be no more than 20.

    They have to fix the AI on Searing Totem before fixing the range >.>

    RL: Who pulled the boss early?
    Shaman: Blizzard increased the range on ST but didn't fix the stupid!
