What do you do to bring in the gold?

I'm pretty horrible at bringing in wow-gold. Maybe I'm just lazy... I do alright node farming every now and then, but I'm wanting to bring in a little more. Suggestions?

    The question is:

What do you do to bring in the gold?

What most people will answer, and with a very good point and because it´s obvious : Play the Auction House!

    Have a nice day !

Dailies. I did my tournament dailies for about 3 weeks along with the random BG (as many as it took to win one) and daily random heroic, along with finishing up questing in 2 zones I came out with over 10k gold, of which I spent around 3k of. That's about 2 hours, maybe 2.5 a day. It's easy, and you do a variety of things to help prevent boredom. Dungeons, quests, gathering, pvp. Don't like PvP? do another instance or 2, don't like PvE? do another BG or 2, finished all your northrend quests? do some more of the others. *edit* I gathered ore while questing too.

Buy gems/stuff with my weekly JP accumulation and sell them, I'm always hitting the cap with the amount of PvE I do : /

Finish up Loremaster of Northrend, just Icecrown alone will yield around 4k gold especially if you just pick rewards that sell for the most. Farm heroics, and ofc play the auction house.

Leveling a new character is bank right now too. Now that each skill is only purchased once, that is a few thousand gold along the way we no longer have to spend. Leveling a DK is worth the most. Getting right to outlands and northrend is worth a fortune.

Also, if you havent finished all the quests in Northrend on any of your 80's, it is 6-14g per quest, plus selling all the equipment. You can make easily 1500-3000g per zone in northrend at 80.

Great topic. I've always found it difficult to bring in masses of Gold myself. Thanks for the tips everybody.

Karazhan. Not like it's effective, but you can get a mount once a week, farm rep and sell all the stuff you drop to vendor inside the instance.

Step 1: make a female BE or a female gnome. Depending on faction.

Step 2: Run it to SM/Ironforge

Step 3: Dance Naked on top of mailbox

Step 4: Now that you have step 3 out of your system, Log main and send self about 200g and anything worth selling.

Step 5: Log out DL Auctioneer or Auction Profit Master(was QA3) or both for that matter. Also Postal and a Bag addon is helpful.

Step 6. Log in on bank alt and scan AH

Step 7. Post all your items you sent.

Step 8. Watch for undercuts and good deals. Buy low, sell high. Do your homework and know what is going to sell for a given patch.

Optional Step 9: Buy all your bank tab slots and invest into a 3 slot guild bank, alot of items are better to hold onto when you buy cheap. Just be patient and sell them when the prices go up.

    Hope this helps

All I do is the daily random and raiding and not buy stupid crap, and I have over 20k saved for Cata. Really isn't that hard to do when you don't waste your money on stupid shit like a chopper, etc.

Nothing really other than level alts (that rakes in a good amount of gold)

Good old instances to farm are Sethekk halls and bot on normal. From sethek you should get about 50g-60g in coin and vender trash per run. Also if you are a chanter you can get around 30-40 arcane dust, a few greater planar and a few Large Prismatic shards + cloth. Which can all sell for between another 70g - 100g

i use my professions, farm a lil bit, run instances, do a little auctionhouse play, and the big one... GDKP!!!!!!
