This is our introduction, there are many others like it but this one is ours.
Worg Pup Clubbing Club is a guild with a vision. Our vision is to create a community in this wide World of Warcraft, a community where the members feel valued, wanted, accepted - at home, if you will.
Membership in the WPCC is based around the Worg Pup Philosophy - WPCCers are expected to be kind, considerate, focused on the people they play with and their friendships with those people, rather than what those people can do for them. WPCCers should be open minded, easy going folks, who enjoy making and listening to a good joke, talking and enjoying the company of others. WPCCers will generally have broad interests and we’re happy to accommodate others’ interests - whether you’re into your five mans, old raids, PvP, questing or just chilling out at your local major city tavern, we in WPCC are straining at the leash to make you feel welcome and give you some company on your travels.
We are a very “at our own pace” group these days. Whilst we are currently not partaking of any competitive activity (raiding, rated battlegrounds), we don’t rule out anything happening in the future - however, when it does, we will approach it with the Worg Pup Philosophy - it is fun, unhurried, and friendly. The founders of WPCC have experience in high end raiding, raid leading, Arena PvP and just about anything else that has been thrown at the great WoW player base, but after years of fighting forward, we’re taking a more chilled out approach to the game now, and this is not something that will change.
Our guild leadership structure is simple - we have our guild leader and her two officers. The general day to day running of the guild lies with them, but we want to hear ideas from members for guild activities and what they’re interested in doing both in WoW and outside of it. The leaders of WPCC have known each other for between one and six years. We’re firm friends and one of our motivations for creating WPCC was to find more like minded people we could laugh, cry, play and kill things with.
Given we’re good friends, we often sit and chat on Mumble. Anyone who joins the guild is welcome to join us on Mumble and being chatty is a plus (if you’re shy you’re still welcome to apply - who knows, you may even want to come out of your shell with us). We can tell (and be the butt of) many an off colour or slightly ruder side of politically correct joke. Whilst we will never knowingly be offensive or cruel to each other, it’s worth noting our humour can cross lines. This is the main reason we operate an 18+ policy, and are extremely unlikely to consider anyone under 17 under any circumstances.
Our guild leader and officers are based in the UK, but we’re open to hearing from you no matter where in the world you hail from. Speaking of those we’re open to hearing from, we have virtually no predefined criteria you need to match up to before submitting an application to us - we’re happy to hear from rerollers, new players, old players (old to WoW and the just plain old), or if you’re raiding with another guild but have an alt that you enjoy shooting the breeze on. As long as you’re a fun, friendly and worg-minded person, we may have a spot for you.
Though we’re currently holding a very small roster, there is still generally someone on at many, if not most, hours of the day.
