no it won't, it's pc only as of now, and I doubt it'll be released for mac later on, since gw1 never was

Nope, but GW1 worked fine on Wine.

When Macs can gain at least 15% marketshare (hint: they won't as Apple don't want it), then you can make this ridiculous claims.

What ridiculous claim did he make??? he merely asked if there is a mac version of the game, would that be so ridiculous? :s

Nope... personally I am never making the mistake to buy a Mac that I intend to game on ever again.

From RPM description: "Wine - The Windows Emulator".

The claim that company should support proptietary OS like MacOSX is ridiculous.

Why do people keep assuming Macintosh is a gaming operating system?

You're right, for it to be an emulator it would have to be exactly the same or better. Instead, it's worse.

Wtf? You have no idea what an emulator is.

Wine is simply an implementation of the most used WinAPI functions + a PE loader.

For getting locked into proprietary hardware of course!

For getting locked into proprietary hardware of course!
    Code:
     em·u·late
    [v. em-yuh-leyt; adj. em-yuh-lit] Show IPA
    verb, -lat·ed, -lat·ing, adjective
    –verb (used with object)
    1.
to try to equal or excel; imitate with effort to equal or surpass: to emulate one's father as a concert violinist.
    2.
to rival with some degree of success: Some smaller cities now emulate the major capitals in their cultural offerings.
    3.
    Computers .
    a.
to imitate (a particular computer system) by using a software system, often including a microprogram or another computer that enables it to do the same work, run the same programs, etc., as the first.
    b.
to replace (software) with hardware to perform the same task.
Wine fails to achieve to be better or exactly the same, therefore it fails to emulate.

However, Wine does try to achieve the same compatibility as Windows, therefore it is trying to emulate.

    It is an emulator.
