I'm sorry, but allow me to correct your ridiculously linear view. ARMS is getting nerfed. fury is getting some serious buffs and will be the fotm spec for warriors in 4.0.6.

^ Agreed. I don't see Fury being viable 2200+.

And to quote Ming...
Fury Warriors - I am not sure how this slipped past the QA process. A single intercept with colossus smash without any CDs or crits is 60% of my health in 2-3 globals. An intercept with reckless is 100% of my health in 2-3 globals. Even with more resilience on live servers, in a 3v3 match with another DPS this will be a joke. It is like everyone is fighting with pistols and fury warrior got the AK47. No other class has anywhere near this level of burst damage. It doesn't matter if rest of the class is strong or not, no one should be able to do so much damage in so few globals. Colossus smash really need to be 50-70% armor penetration.
Fury is backed into a corner as far as damage goes.
We aren't great for PvE (altho we're entirely viable to have in a melee roster, obviously) but our burst is the highest possible ingame. I reckon we'll see something along the lines of Colossus Smash getting changed or they end up increasing the white damage while reducing special damage. Another alternative to that is giving us a new ability that does its damage over time.
u guys saying arms not viable after 4.06 for pvp? furys better?
I'm gonna respec fury when the patch hits. I don't see Arms being viable after 1700 rating. I really don't see the point with intercept anymore. Can someone enlighten me?
And I really hate the nerf on HS/Cleave. I don't like where they are going with prot atm. I for once really enjoyed the HS spam back in the days, but now they just want me to click 3-4 buttons and wait for CD to reset.
I did some quick pvp and dungeons today, and lordy lordy. They pretty much buffed up all Arms damage by 30% with the way they changed LttS.
Warriors deserved this.
One good thing is increasing the charge stun to 3 secs - at least nowy I may have a chance to get in melee range of the charged opponent and apply hamstrng before the stun fades while I'm still 10+ yards away from the guy after using my fucking awesome "gap closer"
It's been bugged and the bug has been abused by everyone with half a brain for 6 years now ffs....
Dude, your comp of resto and warrior has been OP for so long its not even funny, like im not the best pvp'er nor do I actually pvp other than BG's atm, but I remember in TBC u guys were OP, Wrath u were OP and now ur still a decent comp... druid and warrior will never be nerfed to the ground, they are blizzards 2x favorite classes in the game.
Try playing a Ret Paladin, I cant even get a 2's group to even try and get conq pts because all the replys I get are lolret or "can you play holy?"
There is really no diff here, if you open with an intercept charge is still usable.

ret has a movement buff and stun, rogues have shadowstep, sprint, stuns and vanish, dk's have chains and death grip, druids have feral charge, shamans have shock and earthbind - your point?
Fury just won't work in 3v3, if we're talking 3v3 I'll get onto that. Anyway Fury relies you and your team to blow trinkets and CD's then set up the kill just for the warrior, if the opposing team is only average (Excluding TSG, anyone who plays this combo is retarded) they will know to kite / play defensive for around 10 seconds also using enrage dispells then they have 5minutes to get a kill against the fury team, it's far too RNG and CD dependent compared to Arms where you can chose what to proc when you want and has better sustained damage.
2's on the other hand, yeah intimidating shout then rape a face.
