I like the zodiac idea, though if they could do more "class" themed ones rather than raid boss/crature influences, that would be great. I want to see what the devs can come up with for an "asian" theme.

Is it just me, or does a Zodiac-themed raid sound just bad-ass? (if pulled off right, obviously, with the raid being divided into different sections with different mobs, surroundings, etc fitting to the bosses).
Put in a bit of Titan-lore behind the raid and bosses, would be fitting IMHO, and voilá, there you have your 5.1 oder 5.2 raid zone!

one problem though: there are 12 zodiac animals and 11 classes (the 10 we have plus monks).

that would mean one animal gets excluded. what if this offends the chinese players who were born in that animal's year?

Warlock: Warlocks tend to get odd armor sets, so likely a Sha with tentacles for arms.

Warrior: Due to the warrior tradition, some Mogu armor would be nice. Very stony-looking.

Rogue: Rogues are ninajs. For every tier this expansion.

Hunter: Hunters dress as beasts. So maybe some hairy yak armor?

Death Knights: Same as always. Skulls, bones, and blue coloring. You honestly think that'll ever change?

Druids: Lotus armor.

All I know is that the hunter gear will be ugly as always. Probably a set of parts from the creatures in Pandaria with mud smeared all over it. It would be awesome if it was panda parts like in Tropic Thunder where Ben Stiller kills one and calls Matthew McConaughey.

extremely unlikely as things sit currently.
the shogun were from japan and we already had serious issues with Blizzard trying to crossbreed the Pandaria with Japan in the past.

if we start getting hints that one of the other races nearby(Mogu, Mantid, those fishie people...the monkeys forgot all the names) have a more Japanese flavor to distinguish from the Chinese Pandaren. THEN we might see Shogun styled armor. until then i think we're looking at Chinese warrior influence.

Honestly at his point, as long as my helm isnt a crooked fish hook, spider humping my face, or tentacle porn then I'm happy with the tier.

Its not like Pandaren have to wear it, so it really isnt going to be a problem to implement Japanese (or Korean, or any other Asian country's cultural-themed gear) in an Asian-themed expansion.
