Just don't spam or make a post with an image/gif only, whether it's link or not.

Depends on the picture.
1 and a half large embed pictures per page with no text accompanying the pictures all by the same poster would be bad.

Any amount of links to pictures is fine though as long as you don't keep just spamming picture links of course. Like these words I'm typing right now is the chat and then I can easily just link an image in these last few words. I'm not going to because I'm feeling lazy at the moment but you get the point, get used to links and not embeds.

I haven't infracted him, it was just a rather large image was all, and a reminder to try to keep it just to chat as much as possible.
