Any old quests you miss?

That's all I could think of right now, it's been ages since doing the quests so I can't remember the ones I enjoyed.

I definitely miss the battle for undercity quests, and always have a little bit of regret that I only saw it from the horde point of view.

You didn't miss anything; the Alliance version is complete crap compared to the Horde version.

The Alliance go in through the sewer entrance and fight a worm that picks you up and throws you around, then you fight Putress who throws plague barrels at you, and then the rest is the same as the Horde version after they defeat Varimathras. Yes, the Alliance version is "shorter" but most of it is taken up by that stupid worm.

The Horde version has the badass courtyard battle with Lament of the Highbourne and Sylvanas shooting arrows like Kazzak in Stormwind.

Well, I miss being swarmed by instantly respawning goblins, just as much as I miss hunting for Silithid Eggs in the Barrens...

But no, the ones I actually miss are:
- the Tirion Fordring questline in Plaguelands
- the attunement quests (yes, I love quests that take a very long time and include travelling and grinding)
- and my favourite low level quest: Torek's Assault, the first touch of Horde versus Alliance I got when levelling my first character (a Tauren).

Anyways, I'm not missing anything from the old 1-60. It was all very bad even back in 2006.

Class quests.

When I was a noob (some might argue I still am :P) they really helped me get exposed to the world.

Notable ones for me were the Dreadsteed quest, all those totems quests and Druid form quests.

The old Darrowshire quests, Battle for Undercity. I also miss the final Nagrand Nesingwary quests being group quests. I always liked going through there and seeing if I could solo them or not.

I did really enjoy the benediction quest, i was perhaps the 7 or 9th priest in our 40 man to get the eye of divinity, went to go do the quest, would anyone in iron forge buff me? no would they hell, i had to make to with mage oil self buffs and oils of immolation, took 2 tries then i managed it. it was quite a test if i remember trying to not go oom.
i heard the hunter one was much harder.

apart from that, well there are loads of great classic quests, its why everyone got addicted in the first place, marshal windsor? chromies quests for fr gear? most of the chain quests were pretty fun, sharpbeak !

Ancient Petrified Leaf without a doubt. Had it on 2 hunters on my old account, I never knew I'd miss it this much.

This, was one of my first epics and still my fav quest all time in any game, beating those demons with blues and all the potions/buffs I could get was amazing and taught me how to play a hunter. Thanks to xmog I have it equipped still.

My other fav was Bang a Gong, red line, green line, blue line I think its been too long, but what a quest chain. Took groups, raids, and even help of the entire server at different parts. I didn't get to finish it myself until a little later so I missed the mount but I helped my GM at the time. Nothing has compared to the scale of that since, not even close. Having the whole server involved in what was basically a server wide attunement quest was pretty awesome, even if alot of it was boring farming mats and such. It was just build up to a great event, only thing that could have made it better would have been more stable servers for gate opening, but it was stable enough to enjoy.
