Its going to be interesting how long devs can stand against the complaints from "bad players" before they
start nerfing content.
Its always the same thing with every new mmo.. "This is a much harder game than wow. Just pro players and no kids" but
in the end they always cave because it means more income. Thats how the world works.
Im guessing it will take to atleast the next major content patch so they can act as they are sticking to their words etc etc.
Word of mouth is making this game even more successful. I'm seeing MORE buzz, so many people who were against it or didn't care are asking for guest passes. They were actually smart, they put a cap on the servers at headstart that wasn't the actual cap. It created queues and made people stop rolling toons on them. People started rolling on the newer servers then after launch they removed the artificial cap. That's why queues are now around 20 mins at most.
That said, there will be a huge drop off once the free month is done, that's just how these things go.

I like to think the players in LFR aren't mentally challenged. They're just lazy, I mean why should they try? Everyone has the capacity to move out of fire if they so choose.
When they buy their first Ferrari and start lurking on a yacht.
That's obviously if the game has any success. But sadly I see this game more likely to die within one year with this "hardcore only" mentality (I have bought this game and play it right now).
Game industry is about making money. And hardcore player don't give their money, casuals do (even more true in Wildstar since hardcore probably won't even pay a sub with the CREDD).
But I can see an ingame cashshop for cosmetic/housing stuff coming.
You can dismiss bots by either making a keybind for Pet Action 3 or by clicking the red X on their portrait if they are targeted. Also, Pet Action 1 is Attack, Pet Action 2 is Stop, Pet Action 4 is Move to the circle. They definitely should probably rename them to help make them a little more obvious. The pet AI definitely needs more work, but they are fine for the most part to me.They even have both pet commands for Passive (that is not actually Passive) and Dismiss (that shows nowhere in the standard UI, including as a named keybind - you have to guess which of the many pet keybinds is the right one).
I wish they'd block cross-language 5 mans though. Had a couple French players in my adventure the other day who couldn't really speak English, in a game that needs co-ordination it's a bit annoying
The biggest problem with dorummu in lfr is that the 'trick' to the mechanic is not understood by most people, even a lot of regular raiders didn't understand it. When I explained the trick everyone would say, "Well that makes it so easy, why didnt anyone say that?" Then we would roll it.
The trick is to be in front of the boss when the death beam comes out and wait to see which side of the boss the purple gas would pop up on, that's the direction you need to be heading and continue around the boss. All too often someone would go the wrong direction and either get caught in the gas, caught in the active death beam or try to scoot under the boss which is just the same as the death beam.
But because people didn't understand the mechanic to tell anyone else how to do it there was fails.
Or a veteran boss, the veteran dungeons are the normal dungeons, but on steriods, I saw a couple of videos where it took groups around 10 minutes to clear a boss, of constant focus.
currently 45, can't wait
Anyone know if there is an addon for tracking/finding datacubes? Missed 2 in a zone and now I have no clue where to look for them to finish my scientist path in that zone.
All veteran adventures cleared now on Gold
Onto the dungeons now!

You should hear them in game lol. I did Stormtalon's Lair on my Spellslinger and we must have went through 5+ people with everyone whining about it being too hard and not tuned properly. I thought it was great fun! We eventually downed it with a few wipes on every boss. Only thing I dislike about the dungeons are the mobs have the same HP as the bosses. Feels like it takes forever to get through them. I would have preferred they had made the mobs harder but with less HP than these easy ones that take forever to kill.
So I did a run on the first dungeon with a friend and 3 other random guys who were in the same guild. I was playing Esper, my friend Stalker dps and the other three were Engineer tank, Stalker dps and Esper heal.
The tanking was okay in the sense that he was not losing his aggro but god he was taking a lot of damage and he was ALWAYS moving.. so annoying.
The healer was a little strange... Sometimes she did not heal at all.
The stalker was afking like for every pack of trash mob.
First boss : I was first dps and my friend second way ahead the other stalker. Second boss : Same.
And then the catastrophe : The tornado boss... wipe, wipe, wipe, wipe => they left without saying a word. They kept dying or the healer was not healing :/
In conclusion : esper dps is fine (i was using telekinetic strike), in fact... if esper were able to cast Telekinetic Strike while moving they would be quite overpowered. And I like it 'cause when things got rough for the healer I helped her. The tornado boss was a bit hard but it's mainly because I'm so bad with tornado... I don't know why but I still managed to survive =)
Oh and if you're tanking : PLEASE PACK THE MOBs. (well if you can't 'cause of a certain mechanic don't). It makes life so much easier and the mobs take all the aoe damage...

I hope you mean normal Zor'lok, cause the boss shown in the video had nothing on HC Zor'lok.
The fast moving yellow things on the floor, looks crazy easy to dodge. You have tons of space, they come in pretty straight lines with very little variation, plus there's nothing else to do but dodge them..
So... I happened to get this from a Boombox today, if you should be interested. Shame I'm still only 43, but then again it rolled bad stats anyway.
