Yay! UK teenagers aren't getting up the duff as much

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-31602417

Kinda feels weird feeling happy that teenage pregnancies have dropped here, hopefully it's an everlasting change and not just a fluke

about time they stopped having them that early in life

    "getting up the duff"
Is that a real euphemism or did you make that up?

US teen preggers are way down too, I don't know what's up. Teens seemed to be glued to their phones these days instead of each other.

Real term, used all the time. It's sort of like saying "a bun in the oven" kinda thing.

Maybe they realized life isn't so great when you're pregnant at 16. I think TV shows on MTV helped a great deal here.

Is there a correlation between this & the number of them now wearing skinny jeans? If so I guess I can relax my rampant hatred for hipsters to a point where I'd rather they didn't exist as opposed to killing them in fire.

In England, do teenagers have better access to birth control through the medical system? Will they let a teenage girl get birth control pills? I think they should america to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

I'm sure the Daily Mail will still attempt to spin this in a negative light.

I dunno about how free pills are, but for gay guys here its easy to get ahold of condoms and lube from GU clinics and youth group centers, all free. Hell, the nurse at the GU clinic gave me a bag full of the stuff when I said I'd be on holiday.

All contraception is free except condoms, though you can get them for free from clinics and stuff. The pill requires a doctors consultation, so if a girl is hiding her sexual stuff from her parents, they're probably not going to bother.

They're also the ones who get lots of tattoos, buy boys drinks at the bar and initiate the sexual contact.
