Is Swtor worth coming back to?

I was think of playing it again but Im not convinced yet if it would be worth it.

Well I quit wow because no flying mounts, and I am have a much better time in swtor.

F2P on it sucks though, just get a sub.

Oh yeah, it's definitely a WoW clone! I hate how they took all of the in-depth individual class storylines and basically just copied them from WoW... /s

there is the rail shooter plus galactic starfighter where you completely control fighters if you bother to actually look into it.

SWTOR is better than WoW... If they both aired today with the same amount of content, people in general would pick SWTOR... WoW is played by us nostalgic people than can't let that old dog go... it's not coz wow is fun, it's becoz we feel comfortable there and that's pretty much it.

SWTOR was awesome for leveling imo, I also played loads of pvp at levcap... but as every mmo.. it gets boring at repetitive... Go play something new and refreshing instead, Witcher 3 or something.. that's my advice.... all this "coming back to" is a fail waiting to happen! :/

There are two different space modes. One is the PvE railshooter that the game launched with.

The other is Galactic Starfighter, which is a full-control PvP dogfighting mode. (Kinda like X-wing vs Tie Fighter.)

Galactic Starfighter = Dog-fight based half arcade/half sim pvp. Very fun if you are into that sort of thing and take the time to practice.

And no SWTOR doesn't have flying mounts, but that is kind of the point, the toothpaste is still in the tube. Wow is trying to cram the toothpaste back in. Wow has just been back sliding for years, but swtor is just getting better.

you don't have to re invent a new genre to make a good game. You can make a good game within predefined game mechanic. Most FPS releasing today don't invent anything, and some are very good shooter.

Civ 5 didn't re invent itself, but polish a little and game was fun.

I guess because it has tanks, healers, and dps with spells on action bars it is a wow clone?

Hardly. But hell, a lot of the features in SWTOR have been ripped off by WoW. Garrisons are basically Crew Skills and Strongholds rolled into one.

Omg they both had a talent tree and 3 diffent roles clone!. comeon really?

i loved the storyies, but gotten to the point where pve was just a massive shit of grinding like tbc and wotlk with hitting max badges everyweek.
was going nightmare modes and they where very challanging at times, with more people doing solo jobsthen a team holding it self togther (group up aoe heal and massive dps race) which i feel Wow has become.

And the crafting system is kinda up there as my favout, and don't forget swtor copyed wow with transmog!.. lol modding old gear that you liked, has much better feeling for me then getting armor and putting old style pixels over it.
