sorry if it has been said already:
since the park is only destroyed in the cata map of SW does it means the park is getting destroyed during the cinematic or during an event happening once you log in (is it possible we'll have to go through this event to start the questing for exemple?)

It will likely be an event after 4.0.3 comes. It's Deathwings escape that causes the disaster so I'm guessing as we try to pick up the pieces of what has happened, cranky pants will make his appearance known.

Maybe Blizz wants to rebuild the Park with better looking Architecture? (Obviously, they destroy it and rebuild it in the whole course of the x-pac)... Although it'd look a bit strange, but a little piece of Gilneas in Stormwind would be neat (Besides, do you guys really think Blizzard is going to leave us with a destroyed city? They are already repairing the towers).

Off topic: Also, SW's textures have been improved, now I know I made the right choice rolling a human in BC :P

Don't you get it? Blizzard will be (re)building SW and Org during the expansion.
The entrance and the park will be rebuilt and Org will be fortified over the course of major patches in cata.
The park was useless. So it will be rebuilt into something more usefull.
I hope a worgen district, sincethe darnassus howling Oak is crap!

That was NOT Deathwing.
If you watched Totalbiscuit's Shows AT ALL and paid attention, it was the super massive cannon at Azshara that destroyed the park.
1- It's aimed at SW.
2- It's nearly directly across (Latitudinal) from SW.
3- The damage is a gapping hole, as if something hit it, not erupting through it. Damage directed at the side causing collapse, not a focused more centered attack which you would assume from an Eruption like attack from Deathwing.
4- There is some lore behind in the Beta.(Pretty damn sure anyway)*

It appears they are still working on Stormwind. Not too long ago they worked on the ground textures, now it appears they are working on the building textures, and the first to get a revamp was the front of SW. They still have 2 months to make further changes, which is quite a long time in to change things in a Beta.

I personally think that they should change the theme music to something from AudioSlave like Save Yourself. They should also have hot big breasted women dancing on poles draped barely in the ally flag. They should say, "Welcome to the revolution baby," upon entry with spot lights and smoke creating a night club feel.
