I'm going to guess your 13, lived through pokemon and haven't grown up. The fact that u use tauren warrior as an example is pretty fail tbh. The warrior class is known for its ruthless bloodthirsty berserker nature. Bladestorm is pretty vicious if you ask me, even if the animation is kinda silly. The reputation alone just tells you how serious the warrior is. Panda bears spinning around in stance of the drunken ox is silly. It's not a fighting monster like the tauren is. The people missing out are the ones who still play this game. But then again, they missed out years ago when WoW was in vanilla/BC.

When was the last time you saw a tauren maul someone irl? Happens all the time with these creatures who obviously arent "fighting monsters"

I've got to wonder what the point of Roll is really. They don't need the extra gap-closer with Flying Serpent Kick... It's not even really that far of a roll anyway.. Just a spammable runspeed boost? I can see the applications for even that inch of squeezing out of AoE range but... eh. Seems more like the intent is just for the monk to show off every few sec.

The attacks sounds like they are missing; they lack the "thwack" of a solid, connecting punch. Hopefully the sounds change during beta, otherwise the class looks great. Also, rage-quitters gonna fake rage-quit and namechange later.

In my eyes, wow has totally lost every bit of it's seriousness. Really, there's this cataclysm,thousands dying,thousands suffering, and there's this colourful childish shit that looks like kung-fu panda for 8-year olds.
This video just made me not want MoP anymore, considering i did want to try it out on release.

You all have to be kidding me. If you actually like this garbage you are so blind with fanoi-ism its not even funny. The class is an obvious "fuck you Bioware" I mean come on their "Jab" ability generates "light force" and "dark force". AND the class has no auto attack. This entire expansion is just Blizzard stealing other games ideas, because they can't come up with anything anymore. I mean how the hell are they going to have an expansion with no main villain ? plus the animations look retarded as hell.

Monks I feel are going to be even more out of place than DK's were when WotlK rolled out. I know it's a long ways away but they just seem like they're going to be the odd ball out that do things either too well or not nearly good enough.

All I can say honestly is good bye wow. It was a hell of a fun time for those 5 years I been playing but this was (especially this) the killing blow for me. First they nerf the shit in to oblivion so you casuals can have everything with no effort and then this... I am done. I will see blizzard next time in d3, sc2's expansion, and hopefully their next mmo.

yeeesh, I am for this xpac but seriously, Blizz if you really want to make this class serious, better animation would be appreciated. Just saying they used street fighter as an example, fyi, Ryu didn't look like he was doing a pirouette.

If WoW was ever on the decline to where subscriptions were not high enough to support the game, they would consider the premium model.

I want to see that spinning kick performed by other races. They'll obviously have to create a whole bunch of new animations for every race which can be a monk. Hopefully at that point they will realize that the old character models aren't capable of animating fluidly enough to pull off the monk's attacks and then hurry up with working on new race models.
