Imo Ethereals and Nagas could be extra cool, but also Satyrs or Arakkoas.
Tho as we already helped them out in TBC i woud like to see as a playable race the sporelings of Sporeggar, same dimension of Goblins/Gnomes/Dwarfs and they have some nice glowing bodies =P also it would make their story continue, and like the (damn) Pandas they could pick which faction to simpatize at lvl 10/20

High Elves for the Alliance and Leper Gnomes for the Horde.
Wouldn't take them long to implement, as all necessary starting areas already exist.

Ethereal and Arrakoa for me, would love that so much. maybe an expac where we go back to outland or to another alien world, and we could recruit them. though im not sure how they are going to get Arrakoa to join a faction.

    Ponies and Ogres.

Never saw the point in having Ethereals, they just seem like alien-mummies to me. *Shrug*

If I had to pick one, I'd go for Naga.. but to be all honest, I'd rather they focused the lore and graphic upgrades on the races we already have.

The only Blizzard game that is allowed to have ponies is Diablo 3 where they can't be playable but have to be on the other end of our weapons.

Besides that can anyone give a good reason to allow alliance to have playable high elves when alliance already has nightelves and horde has bloodelves?
Also care to show me the differences between them?

Pretty simple. Ogres for obvious reasons, as there's already a (small) clan of Ogres loyal to the Horde - the Stonemaul. High Elves for the Alliance since they are also current members, and if the Pandarians working for both factions works out well then there should be no objections to having similar races on both sides (i.e. High and Blood Elves being near-identical, bar their eyes). New models for both would be good as well, with a slightly less haughty stance for the Elves (and new dances) and a something different for Ogres.

Racials and classes? Well, as a quick thought, and nothing perfect:

Ogres - Warriors, Mages, Warlocks, Shaman
Burly - 5% increased base strength.
Thick Skulled - 10% reduced duration on fears and charms.
Foul Stench - 2% increased miss chance against melee attacks.
Savage Bellow - 3 minute cooldown, AoE disorient (similar to War Stomp for Tauren).

High Elves - Death Knights, Warriors, Mages, Priests, Hunters, Rogues
Light Footed - 10% reduced duration on snares and movement imparing effects.
Eagle Eyed - Able to zoom view (like the Binoculars from Engineering)
    Bow Specialisation
    Arcane Resistance
Arcane Attunement - 3 minute cooldown, increases mana, rage, energy, runic power or focus regeneration by 20% for 20 seconds.
    Makes sense to me.

this! There are no races that I'd really want added to the game - or perhaps more human-like races. I would much prefer more character customisation, such as size and stuff.

High Elves definitely. I've always loved high elves and blood elves are awesome but they're not the originals. They're already all over the game and they even have their own mount already lol. The Queldorei Steed or some crap. And if you look at wowwiki and what not, it states that Blood Elves have possibly become their own race through evolution so that isnt a problem. ANDDDD it also says "High elves are the most arcane-imbued race in the Alliance" ^^. They're already in the alliance so make them bloody playable! Haha the only condition in which i would possibly roll ally. Just give em new animations and there ya go. Oh and their culture is diff from Blood Elves so its ok. Anddd if not, at least change the bloody Belf male casting animation or fix it when they're running because it looks stupid when they cast and run (i.e. fire mages). They're neck looks twisted lol

Naga, arakkoa, ogres, and Broken. IDEK why people are so hung up on ethereals.

But I'd rather see established races get more lore first, thank you...
