Yeah, a crappy show shouldn't be compared to a good show.

You pony fans are missing the point, for the most part people aren't saying the show sucks (like you are with family guy), they're saying the fans are SOO ANNOYING.

I'd obliterate a trend of people taking some things too seriously on internet. Like rage arguments, for example, haters vs bronies. Devoting yourself to express your hate on cartoon ponies/fans and defending your cartoon ponies as if they are your religion is stupid. Same goes for fandom vs fandom.

Or perhaps I'd rather obliterate the act of being cool. My teen years would have been a lot better without it.

Wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. Even worse when they have that 'meaningful' sig and have a GIRL, not woman, a little GIRL almost nude as their pic. And the whole pony thing needs to go away asap, it's just creepy if you think about it. Grown men in their mid 20s and 30s watching that stuff? Creeps me out, but still not as bad as anime..

Just sayin, not all anime is like that. It's like saying all movies creep you out because fetish porn movies are creepy. There's a lot of different genres of anime, and not all of it is the domain of creepers that need to be locked up.

i had to watch that show with my 5year old neice a few times, ive also sold some toys and a dvd of it to some young girls in my shop (under 6), now if a grown man came to me and bought one i wouldnt be able to keep a straight face. i dont see how adults can watch it :\ but each to their own, it would be one of the top things i obliterate, but not the top. not sure waht the top would be, it may involve obliterating half the youth of England.
maybe Anime lovers would be near the top, not anime it self or people who love. people who are obsessed with it, really annoy me. had a guy like it in my college class, would spend 90% of his time in class watching anime, had anime t-shirts, i think he thought he was in one of the cartoons half the time, his room is covered in anime stuff, posters, wierd toys, dvds and such. people like that annoy me.

Honestly, the biggest trend that ticks me off at the moment is the infamous pony thing. I tried to ignore it and even found it a little amusing at first, yet when every forum I visit has more than a handful of posters using cartoon ponies as their signatures and avatars...it becomes a little much.

I mean, seriously...it's a show designed for little girls. I'm not going to pick a fight over it, but in my humble opinion it has nothing to do with people needing to get a sense of humour or stop being 'haters' and everything to do with the 'bronies' learning to realise that not everyone wants to see cutesy avatars and signatures strewn everywhere.

It got so huge because of a 4chan forum riot. Long story short, people made pony pictures, it pissed mods off, mods banned and locked, people crashed the site, site owner got mad and bitch slapped the mods, bronies won the war, from there it spread to memebase.

One of my what used to be best friends has turned into one of these people, and I can't stand to be around them, because I constantly want to hit him with how he goes on about it.

Trolling pisses me off to no extent, I feel it just makes you look like a douchebag who is insecure about yourself.
