Holy Shield Clarification

Hi, I've just leveled up my prot paladin and I have a question:

Holy Shield - Increases the amount your shield blocks by an additional 20% for 10 sec.

Does that mean that it increases our chance to block by 20% or does it mean that we block 20% more damage.

In case it means that our chance to block increases by 20%, what does this mean in terms of mastery capping?

20% more damage. Not block chance.

It increases the amount your shield blocks by 20%. This basicly means you block 20% extra damage in addition to the normal ammount you block, if you block an attack an holy shield is active.

Ok, thanks both for the answers. I was hoping it was this +20% damage blocked.

It's just a flat +20% block.. so when Holy Shield is up you block 50% of the incomming damage
