Nintendo has stated they don't want to make Pokemon into an MMO at this time. There hasn't been any huge announcement by Nintendo about it.

That's what I was saying. They already have a Dragon Quest MMO coming out for Wii U, so they can do it on the system for sure.

Excuse me, I was at Blizzcon and saw them announce it live. Complete with Gym Battles and random world spawn poke...er...pets to catch.

It's easy to make a Pokemon rip off, doesn't mean it will live up to Pokemon. ;P
