Not a gun man myself, but there's something cool with the image of a hardened detective with a shoulder holster.
I voted waist, but I really prefer tactical holsters (upper leg) to bad my PD only lets us wear them on our belts. For concealed carry waist (angled not straight down) or shoulder if wearing a jacket.
