    New to Rift Computer Question

I am an EMS worker working 48 hour shifts I get some downtime. I want to buy a laptop to do gaming at work during downtime and am thinking of switching to Rift from WoW. My desktop is custom built gaming machine runs everything excellent. I cant afford an alienware laptop or $1200 laptops. I am looking at some I can afford they have intergrated graphics most of them the ATI Radeon 6550 or the Intel 3000 HD. I know it will share memory and the systems all have 2.2-2.6 prossesors and 4-6 GB ram. Do you think this will play Rift???? One is a Dell inspiron 17R and the other is an Acer AS7741G if that helps. Any opinions would be appriciated thx!!

Found this quick thread with someone else looking for a laptop for Rift http://rift.zam.com/forum.html?forum...304069039&h=50.
Now I would find a decent laptop for you but I have to get to bed. (early morning) I will take a closer look tommrow (if I remember). But for now, just go over to http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/landingp...FasEQAodxVwcpQ or http://www.ibuypower.com/IbpPages/In...FWICQAodl0lm9Q where you can basically make your own laptop, and mix and match parts. Make sure and get the best cpu you can buy since Rift is very CPU dependent. Good luck. And you will love rift! It is truly an awesome game and is growing rapidly. Have fun!
