    Sith Inq Assassin tanking

Anyone try this yet? I did warrior tanking and I liked it. But when I leveled an Inq I really liked the game play but didn't get high enough to try the tanking. I would love to hear people's perception as cloth tanking seems strange

I read that as something totally different than what it was meant to be and I laughed really hard. How does someone ass tank?

Anyways, I played SWTOR Beta a long while ago and tanked on my assassin until about level 20. It is pretty fun. Standard, but fun.

Imagine being an enhancement shaman tanking.

This is why Assassination rogues are called Mut...

OT: I haven't tried tanking as one but is on my to-do list this weekend.

LOL I stepped in it with that title. I was on a con call and wanted to post fast so I had some comments for my train ride home. I am laughing at how it looks now.

So I won't be gimped in end game? I love to tank (and no not ass tank). The Sith warrior seemed the safe route, but I liked the game play of the inquisitor.

Plus my wife will be an Inq healer so I figured we could class quest together and coordinate our professions

Yes they are balanced to be just as good as the other tanks. in fact the first video that came out of the new declaration 7 flashpoint is tanked by an assassin

You may want to have separate classes, if only because it'll get real old doing your class quests twice.

I have played an Assassin or Shadow for a while now and love it. I leveled a Guardian to about 20 and it was fun but the Assassin has a very unique feel to it's tanking style that the Guardian doesn't.

I do miss Force Leap with a passion....pulling is kind of blah without it.

But, definitely seems viable so far and I love the PvP with it.

    Good rule to live by.
(My initial response was that's an idea I can get behind...Bioware really should have thought through the class name and its most obvious nickname)

Aye, I'll be rolling a Tankasin, and anyone calling themselves an Ass-tank gets insta-blocked

As for gameplay, I've heard they're pretty badass (sorry I had too ) they have about the same armor as SW's but higher block and some nice self healing. Overall it seems like BW did a bangup job of balancing the Tank classes, I've heard people saying that all three are more than viable in all situations, which is basically exactly what you want

I had originaly planned on playing a Sith Jugg tank, but i got some game time in on an assassin, and i absolutly loved playing it. And the idea that it can also tank was just a huge plus for me, i didnt have any actual exp in tanking with him but i loved everythign else about it.
I plan on playing a Jugg this coming weekend to compare the two , and level them both up to the point where the tanking skills come into play and then ill take a long hard look at what way i want to go.

And dual bladed lightsaber vs a lousy single bladed one!

You guys are in luck. I'm always going to be looking for an ass-tank for my groups from now on.
