Any word on a change for the feral drood and enhance shaman rolling on a intel trink w/a roll bonus?
Just yesterday a paladin tank got the roll bonus on the 2hd str weapon, so clearly adjustments still need to be made. A tank dk I understand, but not tank pally.
Undoubtably they did this because of the huge influx of tickets made because of classes rolling need on items they can't even make proper use out of, and the system still gave them a role bonus.
I had a copy-paste reply from a GM yesterday which annoyed me so much because it was obviously my ticket hasn't been read (as I never mentioned ninja looting, only pointing out the problem in the system and suggesting passing on feedback to the devs) that I wrote another ticket in complaint about the lack of effort made on the GM's part to even address my concern. Anal, perhaps, but my goodness I can't stand that sort of 'customer support'.
Especially when most GM's are great, its a shock to the system when one is rubbish.
Just wish this change had been made sooner.

If Blizzard wants me to use a shield instead of an offhand, they need to make the stats better. Honestly, why would I want to lose out on 30 intellect (40 if I gem with an epic) for a small amount of secondary stats and some armour? I'll take the offhand the moment I can get it on normal, thanks.

An agility axe with a MELEE PROC.
If you're using that, then you're a scrub. Plain and simple.
Oh, and Warrior/Paladin tanks? Stop complaining that Frost DK's and SMF Warriors roll need on Souldrinker. Its their BiS too, and they have few enough options as it is.
Bullsh*t. If you replaced an item with one you are no longer able to use now, you deserve to be f*cked, seriously, DKs with AGI polearms, Warriors with AGI Bows, Hunters with STR Weapons... No mercy for clueless ninjas!Originally Posted by Blizzard

Completely agree. It is annoying the level of a-holes present in this game. I came back thanks to a combination of 4.3, deals being offered, etc. I have been playing a blood DK and tanking instances. Here is what I lost rolls on while queing up as a tank over the last two days...
Carrier Wave Pendant x 1
Headcover of Fog x 1
Billowing Cape x 2
Heart of Thunder x 1 (Won another on a later run)
Porcelian Crab x 1
Phosphorescent Cape x 1
Leaden Despair x 1
It pisses me off because by the time someone is actually going to consider gearing and tanking if they are already a DPS spec this stuff is pretty much going to be useless to them.
I have been reconsidering rolling on DPS stuff just because.
Um if it was a legitimate upgrade why should they be screwed exactly? We had a guild lfr run where an alt rogue replaced a 359 weapon with a 384 strength axe. I also play a rogue, and such a massive ilvl jump is a dps gain even though its not an agi weapon. So how is it fair that he can no longer use his legitimate upgrade (which wasn't ninja'd)?
Ok, first of all, he shouldn't carry a 359 weapon in such a raid, even in LFR. If you decide to pull him through, ok, but then you could also pull him through new dungeons, I'm pretty sure a 378 AGI weapon is better than an 384 STR weapon for a rogue.
Then, there's the nearly effortless obtainable set of 397 daggers from the legendary chain, which makes me want to vomit on all lower daggers that drop in DS raids, stealing potential drops for classes that don't get BOTH their weapons presented on a silver plate.
And even if he only likes playing combat and needs a slow mainhand, I guess it's not that hard to find a new one, better than 359. But the real Ninjas should really be punished or at least shown that they are wrong.
Completely agree with all the new loot rules personally. I DON'T agree with the way the item changes have taken place. As a healadin I have had the Ledger of Revolting Rituals removed from me being able to use it dropping my ilvl down to 355 from 377 mean effectively I am not supposed to be able to heal in a heroic or LFR. Best part to this whole problem is blizzards estimated response time is 5 - 6 days before they look at my ticket leaving me in a shit situation. I don't see why they didn't change the loot rules moving forward or substitute the items for usable ones for players that lost their items. e.g. Replacing Ledger of Revolting Rituals with Timepiece of the Bronze Flight. It pisses me off to know that I worked to get the ilvl requirement to get into LFR and then I have my items taken away from me with absolutely no replacement or attempt to fix the issue they created. I have been pretty content up until now with the decisions that Blizzard have made but as time goes on it seems they care more about fixing the problem with the least amount of internal development cost they can with no regard to the players. A newer game perhaps might make this effort to keep its customers happy, though unlikely will be as good as wow... for now.
Yay! My huntard is now ****ed because he had the Razor Saronite Chip and Electrowing Dagger equipped and gemmed. He has no other weapon because I sold the previous weapon (it was really bad...) but now because of this hotfix I can't even queue lfr because I have no weapons! I am really mad at blizzard for this, did not even reimburse me my gem or my staff I vendored... this ticket I have in better not actually take the 6days 17hrs it says it will.
Actually there is another issue around this quote. The "Need" bonus is activated by the LFR automatic role assignment, and not by your current spec. That means that you can queue as DPS and Tank, but have bonus for only one spec at a time and this is decided by the game.
Now, what happened last night, I was selected as Tank role for Spine. During the fight a few DPS left the raid and at the end of the encounter, there is a video before looting and at this moment a Tank was queued-in and I was switched to DPS role. I lost the "Tank-bonus" and because the third Tank didn't kill Spine, he couldn't role on it, so there was only one player with "Tank-bonus" who won every tank oriented items. Anyway, now with these stupid rules I just queue in using single spec (Tank queuing in LFR takes ages compared to DPS where healer is instant)
Well a emo retarded Ench shammy got both the shield and mace from DS last night so from right now im going to need on all things tho regardless if i have any use for it ore not
I just wish they'd fix people getting multiple tier tokens. I lost out today to someone who won both and even though I was 2nd highest on BOTH rolls, he didn't use his brains to offer me the token, insted he gave the other token to someone who whispered him before me. And I whispered him dam fast too. Would it be so hard to implement it so that if someone wins one token, the next roll (on a tier token) is either a) auto-cancelled or b) the person who rolls 2nd highet gets it instead?
