Most people won't spend more than $150 for a used computer even if you paid over $1000 for it just a year ago. When I upgraded to my current PC I ended up biting the bullet & sold my old one for $75 even though there wasn't anything wrong with it either and I had just bought it 3-4 years before for $800.

Keep it as a 2nd PC. Install UNRAID on it and make it into a server/media streamer.
