If your mouse driver supports "on click" changes then yes, but ingame via preferences no.

Not specifically for space combat no, but there's an overall mouse sensativity setting isn't there? I'm not at my comp so I can't double check.

I have a mouse that has a sensativity adjustement on it. If there is a reason you cannot use a keyboard and mouse at the same time, I would look into that.

I actually find that somewhat frustrating. Fortunately my mouse has a button for changing sensitivity independent of software. I have to use the lowest setting for regular gameplay, but I use the highest setting for space battles. Would drive me mad if I didn't have a good gaming mouse.
