Runes of Magic.
It's seriously the most blatant ripoff of World of Warcraft that I have ever seen. It doesn't even try to hide it.I mostly play fighting games these days.

LoL isn't a MMORPG. By your standards even Diablo II is an MMORPG, which it isn't.

By that definition even mortal kombat on xbox live is an MMORPG. The key element in an mmorpg is that its massive but that you can interact with all of those people in one world environment. if you can only interact with 9 other people its not massively multiplayer. In WOW you can interact with thousands of players in one city in one environment. Hope that helps. Originally Posted by Firebert

Regardless of whether or not League of Legends is an MMO, it is nowhere CLOSE to WoW or Rift, and therefore is a pretty terrible answer in the first place.
Runes of Magic is a F2P MMO that is probably the closest you'll get to WoW. You may also like to check out Lord of the Rings Online (although, while F2P, many of the quests must be bought).

Im thinking of going back to wow.. i started playing rift but i cant get in to it my mage is lvl 43 and i get on and alt tab all day...bored hummm i dont know yet lol
