It was entirely dependant on where you were. In Divinitys Reach I would get 30 fps on occasion, while in Kessex Hills I would push over 100 fps. The game isn't optimised, end of story. Originally Posted by Kickbuttmario

My ingame settings were the same as Mif's and my FPS was only about 20 under his, and my video card is only a 560ti. I have the same processor also at 4.5GHz, and since our performance was almost the same it shows how dependent on CPU gw2 currently is. The lowest my FPS ever went while not recording was ~25 during huge keep sieges. In places like Divinity's Reach I kept a steady 30 at the lowest.

See, I have a Radeon HD 5950 vid card so my FPS was lower cause I think most game companies tend to optimize for AMD cards last. Which irks me.
But for the most part it was pretty damn good, even in crowds of people. I am pretty sure I never dipped below 15fps.

Got my ssd hooked up and set up today. I bought it the night before the BWE so there wasn't enough time to get it working with the problems I was having. Now I got it working great and I even reformatted my hdd too. It's almost like having a brand new computer lol
My restart times, from when I hit restart til my computer is back up and running without any lag so I can actually use programs, is down from about 5 minutes to less than a minute. I guess I'll have to try D3 instead of GW2.
