I also associate some songs with good memories, but they arent anywhere near as strong as the sad ones. For example: I associate the whole recent In Flames album with something good, because as it was released my parents were on vacation and I listened to it all day, like 18h straight.
But that's not a strong good memory (sad... I just realize that I don't really have strong good memories even tho I had a lot of good times with friends, sad memories are always stronger
).
But I actually use music more to get my into some kind of mood, when I listen to a sad song I can easily be sad too, and if I listen to a happy song I'll almost always have a good mood.
A kinda difficult topic to explain now.
