10HC Ultraxion, Hour of Twilight Set-up Help.

So we've killed HC Ultraxion before, but becuase of personal rel-life issues we have to swap up our healers and our DPS.

We used to have it set like this.

    Team 1 - Hunter/DK

    Team 2 - Rogue/Feral Druid

    Team 3 - ShadowP/ShadowP

Now because of the change in our raid comp we run

    Blood DK
    Feral Druid
    Combat Rogue
    Fury Warrior
    Shadow Priest
    Hunter
    Mage
    Elemental/Resto Shaman
    Resto Druid
    Disc Priest.

Keeping team 1 and 2 the same is easy, but shamans do not have a CD to help with HoT.

Assuming we use Pain Supp on him for HoT, the 300k HoT is 270k after 10% nerf, and a 162k Hit after Pain Supp...

Is there anything we can do to make this work? or any suggestion changes to the teams?

    Currently we're thinking

    Team 1 - Hunter/DK
    Team 2 - Rogue/Feral Druid
    Team 3 - shaman/Spriest
    Hail Lord Bjor!

    Team 1 - Hunter/DK
    Team 2 - Rogue/Feral Druid
    Team 3 - MAGE/Spriest

I'd assume your mage was fire, can easily soak 1 with ice block, and 1 with cauterize.

If he's arcane for 3% damage, just have him swap for Ultraxion.

the dps requirement is nonexistent post-nerfs.

If using fire mage, make sure the cauterize is used first, ice block second, otherwise cauterize will be a killer later in the fight.

If desperate, warrior macro to chuck a shield on and shield wall. If even more desperate, shaman + Pain Supression + Glyph of Stoneclaw totem... if fail ankh.

    team 1 hunter/mage
    team 2 rogue/feral
    team 3 spriest/dk

mage takes cauterize on 1 and 4 and if you get to 7 mage can iceblock and take 0 damage that can really help out if healing is an issue. hunter shouldn't be taking any with deterrence too iirc

Why would you want a mage go 3 times, if you can have a SP, Hunter or Rogue do it 3 times without damage?
