Listening to Cue - Burnin' and fine tuning my overclock.
Am I doing it right?
If it's a he, I could accept the wallpaper as well.
Also, I'd make the start menu smaller.
Also, that is a bit too warm for my comfort, even with a burner-tester.
Suppose it can be whoever you want it to be.. :P I'm hoping a girl though or else I feel dirty.
This is the crapiest clocking IB I've seen by the way. With VID voltage of 1.3411 I'm doing the best I can with what I have. Almost tempted to change it with the i5 which I put in to my brothers system. Seems to be a cherry picked sample from what I gathered (the irony, he doesn't even have an aftermarket cooler).

So after a whole day of testing my OC, I cant get it stable past 4.4 no matter what I do or how much voltage I throw at it >.< I guess 4.4 is good enough. Now onwards to the graphics cards, I wonder how much I can squeeze out of them.

That doesn't sound like Ivy Bridge at all. It should basically set on fire before it hit's the wall. :P What kind of voltages have you tried?
I noticed that in my case it's the jump from 4.6 to 4.7 that really goes beyond the bearable temperatures. I need around 1.375 volts for 4.6GHz but 4.7GHz takes 1.47 volts and upwards to become stable. At that point I'm reaching 104-105 degrees on one core while stressing so the processor throttles the speed down and it's not beneficial anymore.
The max I've tried is 1.43, was kinda scared of going any higher. I may give it a go again tomorrow, the best result I've gotten is 4.5 stable for about 5-6 mins at around 1.37 and I've tried upto 1.395. I've tried 4.6 all the way upto 1.43 and couldnt even get it to boot into windows, but I havent hit the wall yet thankfully the H100 is doing a very good job of keeping those temps down. The limited time I've had to stress test at 4.5 has shown max temps of about 75-85c.

I've just set it to Level 5 and left it at that.
