Have you tried contacting their support? I might be a bit naive here, but quite frankly, going that far down after one match seems kind of like a bug or glitch.

Gonna take your advice and contact them. Only being allowed one placement match does not seem right in any way, even if you include transfer-karma. :S

The only justification I could see for this is that it takes more to get high up in EUW than it does in EUNE, but that's not for sure.

I'm quite sure it does take more to get high in EUW, but it's due to average skill - it's not that elo for being in silver is higher, it's that it's harder to get elo needed for silver. Even if my skill is on bronze level in EUW I just don't see how one match could have ascertained that.

First ranked in a couple of weeks, top-xin, jungle-olaf, mid-fizz, adc-mf and me as karma support vs nasus, shen, jarvin, vayne & lux , every lane goes alright but xin, he keeps overextending and dying(minions, turrets, their jungler, etc). Olaf was babysitting him before nasus would be too fed to handle but alas, when olaf tried to help just for a sec xin dies. Teamfight: xin rushes into the enemy team when we ping him to come back on the rare occasions when we actually had 5v5 fight he targets nasus or jarv --' what can you do with such a player sigh

First match: instalock Garen who bans Teemo instead of Amumu, Lee jungle baiting all lanes into deaths, 1/3 within 7 minutes, and Sona who went 0/4 within 8 minutes. Well, shit happens, next match will probably be better, right? After all there are several placements so it'll even out to some degree I guess. After match screen: YOU HAVE BEEN PLACED IN BRONZE I.

Don't you see the difference between being angry at the system and and berating others and calling them names - "fucking whore and cunt of an Irelia", was it? The "berating for being angry" was telling Catanowplx to calm down when they spouted a shitload of insults at a player for them having bad luck with internet in their match. Those kinds of personal insult-showers are going to get this thread closed eventually, as it already is an exception for mmo-champion.

Been up for promotion twice today, both times get a deliberate troll who sabotages the game I need to win and move up. Seriously.

Last game got a pair of potty mouthed kids who screamed blue murder when I dared take "THEIR ROLE" and then intentionally troll picked and tryed to stir up bad feeling and grief. We of course lost because the troll was a terrible player (big surprise eh?) in addition to being a troll pick. Really hate this 2/3 wins shit to be promoted, it's so easy for people to deliberately sabotage you

Long rage:

So i wanted to go Rammus jungle, some guy said he can't adc. So i go MF. Lulu/MF vs Blitz/Varus, ok not bad. I can easily dodge Blitz and Varus wasn't really difficult either. We get first blood and another kill. Good start.

Mid Nid against Talon (ofcourse, Talon feeds Nid the whole match, no SS either which results in us bot dying a few times to annoying ganks and were we overextend stupid).

I get farmed up a lot (385 at the end) and get kills. I am now running legendary and know i can easily win us the match. But no.

Talon gets caught whole time, others take spears from Nid, Fiddle ults too early and we just simply get split and what not. I try my best to kill what i can, and succeed a lot in easily killing. But what happens; PEOPLE GO FUCKING SOLO. WHY THE FUCK, WOULD YOU GO SOLO WHEN YOU GOT A ADC THAT IS RAPING ALL OF THEM!?
I call out Baron, cause i have Oracle and only 2 of them are alive (after killing Inhib). Me and Lulu (thank god that she stayed with me whole time) go for it, i see Fiddle at our blue (we're purple) and tell him to come. He comes, smites randomly Baron (what?) but ok, they had no vision or anything so free baron.

Teemo and Talon are chasing at their red. And ofcourse, one of them dies. Sigh...
And that's how it goes whole time. They stand in the FoW and try to pull/poke while we kill minions at our turret. I ult from time to time into the fog to get some damage off, pull some Q's and when i see them low, i go in and kill.

Why do people not listen? Like, seriously. All they had to do, was stick with me (thank you again Lulu for doing that) and just, attack SOMEBODY! That's all!

For the guy who dropped from Silver to Bronze, I'm not sure about rules after transferring, but the system shouldn't drop you down a LEAGUE, only a DIVISION.

So, Silver 2 -> Silver 3 = yes.
Silver 5 -> Bronze 1 = not possible.

The only exception is Challenger tier. You can drop out of Challenger tier to Diamond 1 if other players gain more points than you. This is only because there is a limit of players allowed in this tier.

GOOD GODS, why the fuck do I always end up getting the dumb ass gimmicky picks? Got promoted to Silver 1.
First game was Fizz against our Cass mid lane. Got utterly obliterated, while our AD carry Thresh got their Cait to 8/1 within 15 minutes.
Followed by an amazing AP Janna. Picked right after the enemy Akali and got destroyed. HOORAY DEMOTION.
