Wink Deciding on new Gaming Laptop

My old laptop is nearing 4 years old (T7200 and 9600GTS) and it's time for a new one. With the recent releases of the new gen GPUs and IB I think this is the perfect time to get a good one that will last a while.

Keep in mind I'm Canadian, I've been looking at the two in this link, which are basically identical except one is 17" and the other is 15", and the HDDs are slightly different. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...2-342CVF-03%23

Does anyone know of anything better in the same price range?

Any particular reason you're going for a laptop instead of desktop?

If you're going to say for school, then nope.
    Why?
    1. You don't want to carry a brick around if you REALLY want a "gaming" laptop.
    2. Notebook and pencil is better.

I don't use my laptop for class, but I do bring it to the library and such. I have a sweet desktop, but I'm going to be bouncing around between a couple different living arrangements on a weekly basis and can't lug it around (weighs 60+ lbs.). I'm leaning towards the 15" model just because it would be easier to get around with, and still has the same resolution.

I am in college and I carry around a Asus G73SW. I think there are newer models out now but I'm not sure if the graphics on the Asus laptops are better than what you linked above.
