    From Marest's sample builds

Hello, i'm looking to build a pc sometime soon, was looking through the sample builds and found the 650$ one about what i wanted to spend.
However i'm running into a few problems that i would like some clarification on.

    Budget Gaming 650
    MoBo: MSI H67MA-E35 (B3) – $89.99
    CPU: Intel i5 2300 – $179.99
    RAM: Crucial 1600MHz 2x4GB – $36.99
    GPU: XFX Radeon 6870 – $159.99
    HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB – $79.99
    PSU: XFX ProSeries 450W – $58.99 Review
    Case: NZXT M59 – $49.99
    --------------------------------------------------
    Estimated Total Price – $656

it shows the motherboard as out of stock. should i wait or should i find another? and when finding another, what should i be looking for? something with sata ports, and an lga 1155 socket?
Another issue was with the video card, it has dvi ports and the monitor i want to use is a vga one, would a converter kill the quality?

and the last question is it says that the manufacturer of the video card is amd, will that still work with the motherboard and cpu being intel?

    Thanks for your time!

    Kaiser,

    Try this motherboard-

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    Motherboard: ASRock H67M (B3) Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($87.55 @ Newegg)
    Total: $87.55

The GPU should be fine in terms of compatibility and with your monitor.
