That would be a pretty significant buff for AoE if you need to pop Ascendance for this sort of thing (Hello Maloriak green phase).

If all other factors remain equal, my napkin math puts it at roughly an 80% buff to chain lightning for the duration. Obviously it would take a long time to get any amount of significant data, but here's a parse of using it once on the 4 training dummies in org.

I potted, used the valor on use trinket and lusted so I could see big numbers

Edit: Here's another parse for kicks popping Ancestral Guidance and Stormlash Totem.

Stormlash did 350k damage and Ancestral Guidance did 600k overhealing. Still uncertain how mastery affects lava beam, but it seems to be fairly low. At 88 I'm at 40% + 1000 rating with the 2set on beta. Still, this is a big big AOE CD now as well

Additionally this means that it not only is a AoE cd aswell, it also means that this "you used ascendence, now lets spam lava burst even if there was something to cleave with lava beam" is gone^^

Awesome ! It should be a ~100% damage increase (while the LvB spam is a ~70/80% increase).

It's also great because it allows you to not glyph Chain Lightning and still hit 5 targets (maybe they'll make it hit 7 targets ?), this could be useful, also you can switch back to LvB spam when you're done aoeing. Ascendance is a really great CD !

I was hoping they would make Lava Beam increase in damage as it jumps, but that would be too much I guess :P.
