Im currently using 2 Axes on my monk that has 65.7/67.6 DPS each.
One of my ID friends is saying i should be using a staff or other 2h weapon for max dps
Does it really matter on what your using?
*added my weapons*

Only use a 2h if its a real big dps upgrade.
Dual wield gives faster spirit regen
Dual wield = more hits = more spirit = more wave of light with explosive light rune which is retarded damage

whatever is the cheapest + most dmg upgrade :P
I notice u have dex+vitality on them, that's really cool if you can manage it but all of your moves are based off your weapon damage. Getting the highest dps weapons you can afford with any stats at all (int doesnt matter etc) will be a much better help to you in the game. I spent 3 difficulties looking specifically for dex+vit weapons/fist weapons to "fit" monk better, then tried just equipping the highest dps wep I found. The difference in dps was immense. In late hell/early inferno you might want to try 1 hander + a shield for elite packs
Also, with the passive ability (whose name I don't remember ), equipping 2 fist weapons increases your dodge chance by an additional 15%
"When you build it, you love it!"
2h would be the same DPS as DW if you didn't have any support abilities that cost spirit but do not scale with weapon damage, and if you didn't have Transcedence. But you do, so 2h sucks.
Players will no longer randomly suffer falling damage.
