Eyefinity Display Setup With Different Resolutions?

Okay. So, I have crossfire 6970s, they can only run in games that are full screen. If I take a game into a window, only 1 card is used. I have 3 monitors.

1 27 inch@1920x1080 in middle, and on the sides I have identical 19 inch 2 monitors in portrait mode, running at 1024x1280.

The current way I have them setup works, but I cannot full screen games across all three monitors, some games only allow you put it in a window, and drag the boarders across all three monitors but my frame-rate takes too big of a hit and I need that other video card in crossfire to stabilize my FPS.

Is fullscreen using this setup with all 3 monitors impossible?

it's possible, but it will lower your center to 1024x1280, neither eyefinity or surround support portrait-landscape-portrait, all three screen have to run at the same resolution

It's not recommended, but like Cyanotical says, it's really recommended to run them at the same resolution regardless. You don't have to, but it would be difficult not to.
