    Monitor stretched

So I just bought a new pc, and i plug both monitors in and 1 of them has the picture stretched on it, I know its not the monitor as it worked fine on my old one

Just took a picture to show what I mean as it will be easier to see it. Had to use my phone as when i screen shot it it looked normal.

Anyone have any idea how to sort it? :/

Are you using crossfire or eyefinity?

right click the desktop on the monitor, set resolution to that monitors resolution. if you are using eyefinity then all monitors need to be set to the lowest resolution of monitors you have.

There should also be an auto-tune tool on the monitor as well.

You should be able to fix this with the settings using the buttons on the monitor, I think?

Could also be an HDMI hand-off issue. Some displays with HDMI report as "AV" style components which causes some strange issues with overscaling or underscaling. Double check the graphics options in your driver control panel for underscan or overscan and toggle that feature. Alternatively, look in your monitor's OSD for a similar setting.

They do this because, like it or not, your 1920 x 1080 TV is NOT really that resolution for most of it's life. There is additional information encoded in the video stream for things like Close Captioning and SAP (Secondary Audio Programming) as well as timing information. This information uses some of the available bandwidth on the video signal. To ensure compatibility, computer manufacturers (and video card guys too) usually force underscan or overscan to allow the picture to fill as much of the screen as possible.

would post an image to what I mean on the Radeons, only for some reason the tool's not working on my system at the moment. (the joys of finding problems when helping others )

AutoTune typically only works with analog signals. Most of the time, Digital signals don't need extra correction for phase and clock since they are consistent and not subject to the same amount of signal attenuation as analog (VGA) signals can be.
