The blocks inside the circle are the left overs from the original size when I first layed it out, then decided to make it a bit bigger.

The tower is 36 blocks across wass
and also 36 blocks long obviously since it's a circle 
Counting the floor blocks, counting the walls too it's be 38.
filling in the floor was a nightmare I tell you!
And yea, I never stopped playing on your server. I just couldn't log on for a bit and still get dc and lag occasionally, but there's no where else to play that's fun hehe. Single player is kinda boring.

Hmmm started with a full chest of stone bricks and now I'm out, as far as I can tell (not entirely sure how tall I want it) I'm not even 1/3 the way finished. Maybe not even 1/4 lol.
Granted Its going to have a lot of windows and I haven't put any in yet.
