Well based on previous presidential polls, only about 15-20% support the republican party, and the rest support the democrats/other.

And considering it's usually always about a 50/50 ratio of horde to alliance in polls, I would say party affiliation doesn't affect what faction someone plays.

Really, I know what your saying, you think all alliance are the white bread, white picket fenced family men and women like something cut from the waltons. Odds are, most wow players don't give a dam about politics that much for it to effect the vote.

This is the weirdest question I've seen in a while. I do not fit any suggested profiling above. Either I'm an outlier or I am part of the standard distribution that disproves that question.

I enjoy looking at things from a different lens:

How many raiders approach the game from a very 'Republican' perspective? AKA, the whole 'welfare epics' argument? Especially in those from the old-school EQ crowd, I always caught a huge whiff of anarcho-capitalism when hearing them discuss raid prep, loot distribution, etc.

As for myself, I am a Libertarian. I was a Republican, until it became apparent that the party had no interest in staying relevant when it comes to social freedoms. I play both factions, but mainly Alliance. It's where my friends are =)
