Day 1:
Getting up at 5:45 a.m. my time. Meh.
Driving to the airport, buying some drinks for the flight.
Less than two minutes after buying them (airport drinks are frickin' expensive) I can throw them away again at the check-in since I forgot I was not allowed to bring liquids. Fuck that rule.
9.5 hours of flying till Atlanta. Lots of playing Pokémon. Also I sat next to someone who looked just like Robert Downey Jr.
Arrival in Atlanta, trying to find my next flight ... Atlanta's airport is ridiculously huge.
Found my flight, another hour to Florida.
Arriving in Florida, getting my luggage ready, saying hi to De- ... wait. Where's Del?
Almost an hour went by after arriving in Florida, no sign of Del.
"Huh. We probably should've talked about where he'd pick me up, exactly."
Being on an entirely different continent with no money, no idea where the hotel is and no phone number to dial ... well I'm fucked now aren- oh, hi Del.
Apparently he misjudged 5 p.m. traffic. Hah, happens. <.<
Anyway, driving to the hotel, getting stuff done and proceeding to watch Iron Man 2 and get some sleep after talking half the night.
At this point it's 2 a.m.
Get MANY, MANY hours of sleep ... until a fricking wake-up call at 4:30 kills our night.

And that was chapter one.

Day two:
Still pretty pissed about that wake-up call thing, but we won't let our mood get destroyed by the crappy 1.5 stars hotel. (Yes, 1.5 actually exists.)
Get ready to eat breakfast ... except ... it's only a cold bagel.
Canceling the reservation so we can check-out on the next day.
Went to IHOP (WHICH IS NOT FUCKING INTERNATIONAL, YOU LIARS.), have your kind of pancakes and real bacon strips for the first time ever. (Del's got it on tape as well)
Bacon is fucking fantastic.
Proceed to drive to Sea World.
Many rides and water and stuff but apparently neither Del nor the roller coasters and stuff were good enough to make Seely wet. Disappointing.
Also trying to have an awesome fistbump picture on one of the rides doesn't work because of the restrainment thingies.
Decided on just keeping the sunglasses on for all the pictures on the rides.
Proceeded to the dolphin show and stuff. Was good fun. Little bit disappointing that it wasn't sharks though. That would've been interesting.
More rides and stuff.
Orca show. Not bad.
Pretty neat first day.
Back to the hotel and he introduced me to some Modern Warfare.
Can't remember what we ate for dinner.

Without Del, Del's brother and all the stuff they managed it would've been at least 2000€, probably more.
With their help and often enough generosity, I only spent like 1100€, excluding souvenirs and t-shirts I would've bought anyway.
