Heroes of Gw1 in gw2? (spoilers)- sorta

I've been thinking about this for a bit after replaying Guild wars beefing up my HoM.

What impact do the heroes that we fought alone side with have in guild wars 2?

what i do know:
Jora : Became well known for hunting the Norn bear and redeeming herself and having a clan named after her.
Gwen & Lt Thack : Had children and Logan is there great great grand son.
Pyre: His grand daughter is the one that liberated female char and making them equals with male char.

Sadly that's all i know.. well i think i know and from what little we have seen do you guys and gals think we can expect to see come backs? or descendants of the heroes?

(On a side note/brain storm)
Livia: I'de like to think we will see her in gw2 as a lich possibly corrupted by the staff of Orr.

Aside from the ones you mentioned there is not alot known about the various hero's or even many of the henchmen as to their travles and legacy as it pertains to the time from when GW1 lore ends till GW2 begins. We may or may not find more references to various characters from GW1 as the rest of the game opens up to us come launch. I wouldnt expect to see all that much about the various heros that have their origins in nightfall or factions untill their respective expansions crop up however. Master of whispers is the only one I'd expect a reference too just because the order of whispers is still around and active in tyria for GW2.

Almost all of the major gw1 characters are mentioned as you play through their races story. As a human you get exposed to thackery's offspring rather early on. In Rata Sum you hear about Oola and Vekk. Obviously the prophecies and nightfall heros aren't going to be as prevelant as we're not on their respective continents.

Kind of on topic is this actually makes me excited about gw2 expansions before the vanilla game even launches . . . can't wait to see what's going down in Cantha and Elona in this age!

There is a big statue of Jora in Hoelbrak.

Disappointed there's not one to Vekk.....but it's not the asura way.

Yeah Charr have a few warband stones and then the statues. I remember this super clearly because I was really really impressed and it looked like proper war memorial stuff. Sooo cool.
I didn't see anything at all in Rata Sum but as you said that's very unlike the Asura anyway.

I haven't seen Keg Brawl yet, so I don't know where that is. But if I remember correctly the statue was in the south-east corner of Hoelbrak, right in front of where Eir lives.
