Everyone is always on about "socialism" and "communism" ect. and about how we should be more "meritocratic".

The fact remains,

after many years of evolution, the West pwned all competition.

Furthermore, being able to type here puts you above most of the world's population, thanks to capitalism.

You socialist people will probably bring up silly things such as "poor young children worked for you computer" ECT ECT

But please, feel free to show me some system that workd better.

Moreover, show me how, under China's dictatorship, you would do better than you do now. And how they would pay "poor young children" any better.

The west owns because the lack of regional unification under a single ruler inspired advances through competition, because globalization allowed europeans to pillage the other continents and send all their wealth to europe, and the french revolution and everything that came with it.

It's more complciated than that, but that's the gist of it. I'm sure some Guns Germs and Steel-guys are gonna drop by to talk about the regional advantages, but that onyl restricts dominance to eurasia.
