Armikrog is up to $526,371 of it's $900,000 goal with 12 days left to go, but it's currently not looking like it will make it, which would be a massive shame as it looks really promising.

Two very nice kickstarters came out a few days ago:
Soul Saga - JRPG inspired game with a WiiU stretch goal
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...ation-classics
LFG - The Fork of Truth. LFG comic made into a seemingly hilarious game
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-fork-of-truth
45 hours to go and is 85% funded. At the current rate, it should make it!
Armikrog is about to hit it's goal with 17 hours to spare! Had almost given up hope a week ago, and now there's a huge influx of support. Now we just have to wait for the bloody thing to get made!
MrVoletron, Squared: A Full-Length Digital Album- Due to MMOChamp sign-up restrictions, I can't post links, but thankfully these things aren't hard to look up.
MrVoletron, a composer who enjoyed slight fame during WotLK for his boss-themed music remixes, is attempting to create his own album using Indiegogo. His most well known song would most likely be You Face Jaraxxuss, but he has several other songs that can be found on his youtube channel.
As of this posting, his campaign has $3,009/5,900 of its goal with 4 days left. He has promised that his new album will contain new WoW remixes, but it will be mostly Square game music themed.
Just drawing this to the attention of any old fans (or new fans if you give his content a listen)!
Warmachine: Tactics is now on Kickstarter !
And awaiting your votes for the Steam Green Light !
Warmachine is a game set in the Iron Kingdoms, where a fusion of steam technology and magic created warjacks, multiton war automatons mentally directed by extremely powerful battle mages called warcasters. Human nations wage war over the continent of Immoren : the technologically advanced kingdom of Cygnar, the conquerant northern empire of Khador, and the fanatical theocracy of the Protectorate of Menoth fiercely struggle to prevail, while the undead Nightmare Empire of Cryx and the ruthlessly xenophobic elves of the Retribution of Scyrah pursue their own sinister goals amidst the turmoil.
The game originates from a tabletop wargame renowned for its quality rules, its dynamic gameplay and its "Full-Metal Fantasy" setting. Think chess on a board, except with more steam-powered behemoths, scary fast zombies and bearded angry elves.
The project was funded within the first two days and has made good progress towards awesome stretch goals. Now is a great time to join !

"An open world, voxel-based, sandbox game blending the best elements of FPS, Survival Horror, Tower Defense and Role Playing Games."
Liege
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/codagames/liege
Is currently past the needed pledge amount, however it has 4 days left and still needs to hit the stretch goals for WiiU/Vita/PS4. It is a turn based strategy game with inspirations from Fire Emblem, FF Tactics and the like.
Satellite Reign

Also on 4 days left, and just hit the target funding goal. There's still some very nice stretch goals it can hit, however. You control four agents in a real time strategy game.
The King's Armory
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...nse-board-game
Admitedly not a video game but a board game. It seems to be a really interesting take on a tower defense board game where you defend against incoming hordes. Designed so that you can add/remove players when need exists and can be played by 1-7 people.
Paranautical Activity recently started up their campaign.

$10k is a really small ask. The game is incredibly fun if you enjoy roguelike games such as Binding of Isaac and Spelunky.
The music seems to be what most people have a problem with, but it's easy enough to turn off and play your own.
A nice looking pixel art game popped up that seems to be pretty cool. It's already past it's start-up needs and is closing in on it's goal for making a PS4 and Vita version. Personally I'm excited. The trailer alone shows a lot of detail and potential in what you can expect to see when it's fully developed. Also the soundtrack is gonna be great. The guy who made FEZs' soundtrack is helping out with this game as well.

Honestly, there's no reason for games to look like that these days. Making your game 2D and/or sprite based is fine. It's an art style. Intentionally pixelated like that? No. That was never an art style. It's just bad, outdated graphics. There's a reason people stopped making games look like that the minute better technology came along. It's not nostalgic. Just ugly.
Actually, yeah there is. Because that's how the creators want it to look. There's no need for any additional justification.
You don't like it, that's fine. But that's an art style. That's an art direction choice. Some people dig it, others don't. Also, it's way cheaper to make a game that looks like that than it is to invest in HD art assets.
Redit: Actually checking out some of the videos, I quite dig the art in the game. But again, subjective tastes are subjective.
