Your favorite Dynamic Event.

Like the title says, what is your favorite DE so far? Mine would most definitely have to be the ice dragon group event/raid in the lvl 70-80 area right up above the Norn city. It really reminded me of WoW's raids with a GW2 style and twist. There was a lot of strategy that had to go into it, a lot of trial and error until we figured out exactly what we had to do. In the second phase you have to destroy these ice shards that pop up the ground so it doesn't kill the asura golems that are armed with explosives (they stun the boss long enough for you to be able to dps him), at the same time you have to kite the mini bosses that spawn and eventually kill them, because you will be overrun with different veteran mobs. Theres also a bunch of other ice mobs around that have to be killed on the ledge so they don't kill the golems.

It requires much more than just 10 people, so that was pretty cool.

It was a very fun fight, just awesome. Some special weapons like grenade launchers and flame throwers you can use to help you out as well. I look forward to the DE's in Orr =D

Claw of Jormag

Nothing beats shooting a dragon out of the air, having it crash to the ground and bounce off a hill rhe blowing it up with suicide bomber golems then flamethrowering it in the face

Maybe not favorite, but an exciting one was the little town just north of Fort Trinity. I strolled in to get the POI, and all of a sudden corrupt balls crashed into, turning guards into Risen and creating an instant battle for survival. Surprising and fun!

I don't have a favorite yet but I do really like the multi-stage ones. Like the one where that huge wurm pops up at the end? Everyone starts running off in a dozen different directions thinking its over and BOOM! Here's wurmy!

Of course the great epic ones but a couple quirky ones stick out in my mind

I was wrapping up an escort quest in Bloodtide Coast and much to my delight one of the pirates sang, "I am the Very Model of a Modern Major General" from Gilbert & Sullivans comic opera, The Pirates of Penzance.

In Kessex Hills the minor DE where you have to collect water from a waterfall in a gourd (wonderful kerplunk sound) then pour it on the poisioned Sylvari. Watering Sylvari mwahahaha.

It may have been in Harathi? The minor DE where you use a warhorn to scare rats out of their nest, then blow the horn to call down a flock of hawks that rip the rat to bloody shreds. I did this for an inordinate amount of time. I know, I'm twisted O.o

I like the one at the medical camp north of Fort Trinity because of all the MASH references. And pretty much any DE that involves defending a location against a marauding army.

I liked the one in [insert zone name I forgot here] where you collect mushrooms to give to a giant outside the cave. He then makes a shrinking potion to go into the cave and say hello/goodbye to his lost/dead friends who are in their graves. It was actually sad and heartwarming...

Also, just remembered, sinking the pirate ship in Sparkfly Fen while be assaulted by Risen was incredibly fun and epic, and the fact that the pirate ship sank and was actually resting in two pieces on the ocean floor was amazingly immersive.

My current fav is the DE chain at Mount Doom (the volcano, forget the zone) that turns into a mini raid at the end.

Yeah, the claw of Jormag is the best, honestly, The Shatterer is probably the worst (At least, or the big dragon bosses).

I still like the one right near the start of the Asura area. It's where 4 golems merge into a super golem, to fight a bad guy golem. The dialogue when it starts is funny and exciting. I really started getting into the Asura atmosphere and style from that point onward.

The bloody fire elemental in Metrica Provence... did this chain event, thought it was done, then all of sudden BOOM this MASSIVE firey thing jumps out the ground out of nowhere and literally scared the crap out of me...before i could say WTF was that, i died and so did a lot of people.. lol then it took a couple of run backs before we realised on the bridge that a flame kept floating over the bridge and instant killing people (no red circle , diff mechanic) , so we avoided that and got in the main room and then we finally got the bitch down.

So far the Shadow Behemoth. I haven't found any really "epic" events yet so far, other then that one.
